There’s a new OB/Gyn in Cushing!  J. Brant Buchinger, M.D., has practiced Obstetrics & Gynecology in Oklahoma since 2007, providing care for patients in Midwest City, Edmond and now Cushing.  He looks forward to meeting with you to discuss any of your Obstetric and/or Gynecologic concerns.  He is skilled in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgical techniques and has performed over 200 procedures using the da Vinci Robotic System. While at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Edmond, he served as the Chairman of the OB/Gyn service line and the Medical Director of Women’s Services.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.  He is a member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association and the American College of Physician Executives.  Dr. Buchinger earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1995.  He obtained his Medical Degree from St. George’s University of School of Medicine / Grenada in 2003.  He completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma (OU) Health Sciences Center and OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City in 2007.  He recently completed his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management at the University of Texas Dallas. Dr. Buchinger served in the U.S. Army receiving an active duty honorable discharge after support in Operation Desert Shield / Storm.  He has been happily married for more than 20 years and has two children.  His personal interests include boating, snow skiing, cooking and home improvement projects with his family.  He and his family reside in Cushing, demonstrating his commitment to the local community. Dr. Buchinger welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.  His office is located on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital Cushing at 1030 E. Cherry St.  Appointments can be scheduled by calling 918.225.0616 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
